To kick of this week’s series, we start with five-time award winning British author, Zadie Smith. Smith debut her first novel in the year 2000 and it immediately became a best-seller, even going on to spawn a TV series title White Teeth which you can find on Netflix, but this was just the start of her writing career and not the only book she would write that would go onto being turned into a live adaptation. Zadie has been features in number of articles and praised for her ability to tackle class, culture and colour in reflection of the world we live in today.
