Abusive Relationships

⁣Domestic Violence and abuse do not discriminate; they can occur in heterosexual couples
and same-sex partnerships of all ages, races, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
While it is often said that many women and men in abusive relationships have
previously experienced abuse from a family member or in previous relationships,
this isn’t always true. Individuals who were raised in a healthy emotional
environment or enjoyed normal relationships in the past can also become victims
of abuse.
